Vaccine Clinnic Intern
I kept patient records accurate and up to date, checked insurance eligibility, and made sure all information was properly documented in the clinic system. I reviewed immunization records to see which vaccines were needed and shared clear recommendations with patients. I also helped support community mobile vaccine clinics and assisted with office tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly and efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities and Projects

Accurately enter and manage patient information within clinic systems

Verify patient Medicaid eligibility using the Indiana Medicaid for Providers website and document insurance status

Review immunization records through the Indiana CHIRP( Children & Hoosiers Immunization Registry Program) system to identify vaccines due and provide recommendations to patients

Assist with the setup and operation of the Indiana Immunization Coalition’s mobile vaccine clinics at community locations, including schools and workplaces

Support staff with general administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations
