After graduation, my next step is to begin working in the healthcare or public health field in an entry-level role where I can continue building hands-on experience. My goal is to apply what I learned during my internship and coursework to help improve patient care, support clinic operations, and contribute to better health outcomes in the community
Future Learning and Development
Thinking ahead to my professional goals in healthcare and public health, I know I will need to continue building my knowledge and skills after graduation. My goal is to pursue a master’s degree once I have secured an entry-level job.
Also, I plan to build and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and professionals I met during my internship. I also want to attend conferences, workshops, and community health events to meet others in the field and learn from their experiences. Going professional organizations event like the American Public Health Association (APHA) will also help me connect with public health professionals and stay engaged in current issues and career opportunities.
